that we were never invited to dance with the Big XII. Mr. Wilkens comments convince me I was right. Maybe I do have sources:

We were never on the Big XII radar and Doabo's comments, as well as those from the Board, are a way to avoid embarrassment when FSU and ND are invited and we are not. We can now say that the reason we weren't invited was because they knew we wouldn't join. It's like a girl in high school announcing she won't go to the prom with the best looking guy in her class. When he doesn't invite her she can always claim that was because he knew she wouldn't have said yes.

OK I really don't have sources, except the voices in my head, but I think that still makes sense.

you really are... c'mon... lighten up. If FSU wants to go... let 'em. You guys need to chill with all of that. Clemson is a big time football program and will get the opportunity to turn things around. The greedy are gonna fall at some point.

Not paranoid, but losing FSU will hurt Clemson and the ACC

the commissioner and doesn't want to ruin his rep. The ACC and member schools have legal guns pointed at CU and FSU.
