My Prediction on what's about to happen with Clemson Basketb

Clemson will accept an NIT bid, win a game or two, garner some fan support at the general admission games, but will then stub their toe against an inferior opponent. Clemson fans will point to that amd missing the NCAA Tournament 10 of the last 13 years for putting pressure on Neff, and a change will be made. Knowing Neff, and his push to make a splash hire at the beginning of his AD career, he'll hire a stud and we'll see Clemson basketball take a step forward like never before (in as little as 1 year).
Fin.

if Neff makes a move... we won't see a new hire until after

the Final Four. There's a lot of networking that goes on at the Final Four, and depending on who makes a run, I don't see someone being named until after that.
That DOES NOT mean he won't let BB go before then.

I almost think the opposite. I think both sides will want a quick decision so everyone can begin the process of moving on and securing the next step. However, I do see your point as well.

but I don't think we hire until after the Final Four.... especially if we are targeting someone in the NCAAT

If you think Clemson is going to consistently finish with more than 20 wins a season and better than 3rd in the ACC then you are delusional.

I see almost no chance that Brad is let go after the season.

The only chance of that happening is if Clemson decides to go “all in” on men’s basketball, pledge to spend millions more a year on it than we have been, and Neff has an opportunity to hire a great coach he can’t pass up.
Otherwise, Brad will be back.

Agree. That starts with a great coach.

do with amount spent or budget, and that was pointed out in an earlier thread...
Do you think 4 in 14 years is really any better than 3 in 13 years?
