In the unlikely event you read this board, I just wanted to say:
I still believe in you. Five hundred thousand tiger fans strong still believe in you. This loss hurts, about as deep as any one that I can remember, but its not on you. The faithful are behind you.
This summer, when you are running route trees in 100 degree heat with Stoudt/Kelly/Watson, remember this: We know who you do it for.

You bring up a point. It's not Humphries fault. He should NEVER have been in that position to begin with.

has the guy really let us down all that much in the past, people were singing his praises against GT?. What I saw tonight was a team wide fail.

Humphries does a lot of things well. Punt returns, he shouldn't be doing. These aren't his first mistakes in that position. Plus, the first one tonight Bryant could share some of the blame.

agree on Bryant, but has Sammy been all that good on SP either? When was the last time we returned a kick for a TD?

If asked ahead of time if we had won or lost giving up 318 yards but having the ball 22 minutes, putting turnovers aside, what would it have been?

I think there's been like 4 kick returns for TDs this season

You're delusional. Of all of our turnovers tonight, Humphries were the most critical mainly because of when they occurred. Watkins should have been our punt returner all year but got yanked because of 1 muff against UGA. Humphries has put 4 or 5 on the ground this year and yet he kept the position. I get that Dabo has a soft spot for unheralded, barely athletic white boys (yes Suckinger, this means you too) but as a head coach, you have to learn to separate emotion from your decision making. And before any of you accuse me of being a black racist, I am lily white as they come. But anyone can see that Watkins in the return game is a constant home run threat.

That was really sweet! I agree, he probably works really hard and the loss wasn't his fault. That doesn't change the fact that he is not a talented enough player to play skill for Clemson. The truth hurts, I know. Listen, I'm not trying to be mean but this is big time D1 football. It's business. He is not good enough. Not tall, not fast, and not good enough hands (at least when it matters most). Listen up Dabo, he's a hard worker, but so is Suzie at the office. Time to put skill first!
