Diego Pavis is a huge part of their success. They may have a streamlined philosophy. Credit to Lea for developing that and finding an edge/niche.

But make no mistake.

They are selling, very strongly:

-The value of a Vanderbilt degree (one of the best)
-The Nashville experience (one of the hottest cities in the USA)
-The SEC (speaks for itself)
-and NIL (they have plenty).

Not many programs have all those things or something similar/equivalent. All those elements added together in the right mixture has created, instead of a hodge-podge with no culture or cohesiveness, a proven winner.

That's what they said about Deshaun Watson... Then oh yeah... Trevor showed up. Innovative coaches use momentum to their advantage to simply reload.. If you don't think they are selling Pavia's story to numerous other transfer QB's for next year you're dreaming.. This new era of college football is who can evaluate potential diamonds in the portal and who can pay the starts in the portal. That's ALL.

You are close to right. If they are not actively recruiting qbs at other schools they are behind 1/3 of the other schools trying to get qb for next year.

So that whole education thing is out the window I guess? I didn’t remember ever seeing Pavia attend classes (I know they all do them online and probably have others take it for them) or even mingling with fellow students on campus during that SEC Netflix series. These guys are living a different existence since the NIL era started.
