I don't think she wants that life. It would be a downgrade.

I'm really starting to think they don't do it

And they're willing to take one hell of a gamble. I think it may be a very stupid gamble, but this is what I think they're thinking:
1. They want to dump Harris but can't because it'll look like a lack of strength and unity. 2. They know if they dump Joe, they risk her running or some other unelectable Dem. 3. They know Biden has beaten Trump before and they're counting on him to be the candidate. 4. They know independents will come out in scores to vote against Trump (and they will). 5. They're hoping maybe Trump is in jail.
Again, not sure I think these are good gambles. They CAN'T dump him now; that creates a lame duck overnight and the Republican Congress, GOP, and candidates will--and should--pounce.
This is one helluva a dangerous chess match both parties are playing with two old, imbecile candidates who are not fit for office.

Trump is likely going to be the nominee but you are scaring me. I thought surely people would look at what Newsome has done and what he believes and not vote for him. Maybe I am wrong. If so, God have mercy.

Regardless of whether you think Trump caused the riot at the Capitol or not, the fact that he was there giving a speech on J6 disqualifies him as far as I'm concerned. As much as I don't like Newsom, I think he would be better than Biden or Kamala. And, it would be Kamala, because Biden will not make it through a second term. I could hope that a Pub Congress would neutralize Newsom's bad decisions.

You are a level headed guy. I know this from reading your posts over time. But come on. We cant endure more democrat crap inflicted on us. Newsome would be a disaster. Heck, hes already pandering for the black vote with his reparations nonsense. He is just a hard left wing slimy politician.

Then get behind a sensible Pub candidate and convince your other Pub friends to do it.
Don't want another Dem president? Then stop backing Trump!

How can you say that with a straight face when trump is a criminal who tried to overthrow our election?
Like what are your actual values here?

My values are the opposite of everything Newsome stands for. Its pretty rich that you want to take the high road on the criminal accusation but you support the grotesque criminal currently in the white house.

Please tell me how it’s rich when im 100% for Biden getting indicted for any and all crimes he may have committed?
You are the piece of work here, whatever you think is in Biden you can’t be serious that it’s worse than what Trump has done. You don’t even seem to believe Trump did anything wrong so spare me the bs.

Hi, yes, evidence of Biden's criminal activity?

Not conjecture, not hearsay, not Hunter doing _____, not "well, you're just being ridiculous to think he DIDN'T do fillintheblank crime", etc. Any actual piece of hard evidence of President Joseph Biden committing a crime will do.
Annnnnnnnd...GO.

I don't think Michelle Obama wants anything to do with it. Doesn't need to anymore. I think dems are starting to panic a bit at the frailty of the President, and they really don't have a decent "next man up"
The fact that the pubs seem dead set on Trump seems to keep them a little optimistic.
It's just a travesty that the best "candidates" for the most powerful position in the world are out of touch geriatrics with questionable, to just flat out disgusting character.

Whoever it ends up being it'll be so late that they won't have to participate in debates. Can't have the average swing state American being reminded of how radical and out of touch with reality someone like Newsome is.
