So does last night's performance by Tajh improve his stock

in the draft? Seems like they always dwell on the negative games (there were very few) he played. Well why not dwell on what he did in the great games (plenty of them) he had.
And not that he really could have improved his draft spot but does last night move Sammy up any?

I don't think it will change his stock either way. This game was a microcosom of his career. He played awesome for most of the game and made some outstanding plays, while also making a few head scratchingly bad decisions, but in the end prevailed.

no. red zone INT and one of the worst throws ever witnessed on the last drive. I say no. He is a system guy. I will be surprised if he gets a 2nd contract in NFL.

it has nothing to do with wins and losses. It has to do with the ability to play QB.
FTR - I stated that Whitehurst would be a better QB and have a longer NFL career than Leinart (who won the Heisman)when they came out in the draft together.....I would say that panned out, no?

Is he still on here?

Stats were good again, but several huge mental errors at key moments. He has the skills, but I sometimes worry about his psyche. Just responding to your question. Love ya Tajh!

he played a great game, but made some mistakes and didnt handle blitz pressure overly well. Still think he is maybe top 10 qb's, so depends when the qb run starts in the draft. Sammy will be #1 wr, so just depends when a team picks one. I am probably in the minority and do not think there is a franchise qb in this draft. Like the Ucf kid the best. Some of these teams will probably reach early for qbs

I honestly hope he becomes a permanent backup like Whitehurst.

that is probably a best case scenario. but i agree, his decision making will cost him millions.
I think his glimmer of hope is that our system dictates a lot of throws so we don't see him have to read progressions often. Maybe someone in the NFL can teach him this. He has to learn focus down field though and not on the rush.

Frankly, a permanent backup QB has it MADE.

He had a good game and put up great stats, but he still continued to make dumb plays that cost the team.
I think he'll get his shot in the league, but I don't think his game last night changed anyone's opinion of him.

Last night was a perfect capsule of his career. Genius, bad and good creativity, and a few brain farts in the mix.

He has been a great face for the program and the university.
On the field, a mix of brilliance, bone head plays, with competitive fire.
Then... you look up... and there are 40 or 50 points on the scoreboard.
We will miss him.
