after yesterday's news about the NBA gambling scandal, I might start connecting some dots to Clemsons utter face plant this season. Let me be clear, I dont think anything of the sort. But it wouldn't surprise me if you see something of that nature in every sport, college or pro, in the not so distant future.

For betting. Just giving info.

For example.
I'm a super nfl star. I have a tweeked ankle. Day by day.

I'm at home with my wife..I tell her that I won't be playing Sunday.. because she is my wife.

Later that day she tells her friend and lunch... who tells her husband.. who tells his bookie.

Now i'm involved in a gambling conspiracy and a divorce when she leaves me after being booted from the nfl.

My daughter and I use to be huge college football nuts until college athletics jumped off the cliff. I have said to her many times the pro sports is scripted and I believe the new rule changes giving officials in college football more control of a games outcome has opened up the opportunities for officials through a third party to bet on games they actually work.

I agree with you that all levels of sports will or have been corrupted due to the easy access to betting on sports.

I also believe this will become a problem in college athletics involving college athletes. The Wild Wild West is head for more chaos and more piles of 💰💰💰💰💰💰💰.

Betting in sports eventually leads to cheating.

Part Time jobs for Refs in College is all you need to know as it only takes 1 or 2 bad ones and the outcome of the game hangs in the balance. If this is as bad as it appears and the Mob is associated with it then the Ref does not have to be bad, all the mob would have to do is threaten his family to get him to obey.
