literally handle the Portal "recruitment" so we can see all of the great players that they could bring in. (You know, the players that didn't see the field where they were at...or the other players that already know where they are going before they hit the Portal).
I'm sure we would be so much better off if Dabo handed that responsibility off to someone who has never sniffed a coaching job in their life.
It's just a thought.

some years back who kept peppering me with suggestions on how I should deal with our church insurance company, who we were in the midst of a claim due to a lightning strike that nearly burned our church down. I finally said that maybe he should take over as liason for the church in this case, and suddenly, he didn't have any more suggestions.

I am not opinionated in the least about the portal stuff. I can see arguments both ways. I don't know what the right path is in this crazy new landscape. I hope and trust Dabo is doing the right thing for the long term. I could be wrong, but the details are beyond me - again, I've no strong opinion on it.
However, the constant drumbeat/mantra attempting to sort opinions by supposed credentials is more than a tad lame. It's weaksauce. The QB controversy is/was exhibit A contra that false presupposition.
