i think auburn is going to attack our secondary right out...

of the gate. i know we have some good play makers back there but the youth and inexperience scare me a little bit. auburn preys on the big play deep ball and, even with last years unit, there were more than a few busted coverages in some pivotal moments in games against supposedly "lesser" competition. i fear this game turns out to be more like the nc state game last year where it was us, either in a hole and fighting to get out of it, or us never being able to put real distance on the scoreboard.

we had experience last year. yet none of them would cover the tight end. so I guess you just never know. I just hope we want let people run by us. make them earn what they get and punish the ball carrier

i remember posting in here after the miami game that i thought nc state was gonna get their face smashed by us and.... as usual, carter finley stadium was a house of horrors that night and I was just glad to still be undefeated. I dont think it far fetched to say that allbarn is more talented than nc state. i guess my expectations are tempered a little bit.

I hope they do, I believe that BV has a plan to change their mind if that is their plan. Plus we have I believe enough talent in our secondary to slow them down.

If White has time in the pocket or he can move around and throw down field .
This game will be a shootout.
But I don't think he gets much time and him out of the pocket means bad throws .
This game is going to be on him.

They really don't have that superior back to cause problems and I believe they will have difficulty running consistently. Passes in the flat and short crossing routes/slants will be their attack. Earlier commenter said it best -- our guys on D have been going against the best wideouts in the country and should be ready.
