simply because of Coach Swinney. I know the will to compete and win at your Alma mater is important, I know they love their teammates and fellow students, but I truly believe the biggest reason is their individual love for their Head Coach and wanting to return another year to be with him. This is not to say that those that left, did not love Coach Swinney, I feel certain many of them did too.

Seems like Dabo has made it clear that he thinks the best use of NIL, for the player and the team, is to spend it on players who have contributed on the field, not on HS seniors. Retention is a higher priority than recruitment when it comes to NIL.
That is the same approach FSU is using. (Caveat: FSU is also using it as an incentive for highly regarded transfers.) But, as Norvell has made clear, "If the decision to come to FSU is based solely on NIL, we will lose. NIL is part of it, but not the major part."
Hasn't Dabo said something similar?

and I think it's the ethical way to use it, as the player is getting money for what they have already accomplished, and not just projection. For transfers it's the same model, a proven commodity, just a different school.
Especially when a guy could leave and likely make a roster in the NFL next year, like both Davis and Ruke, likely could, it gives them likely a healthy investment towards their future, with the chance to prove more for the next level.

I hoped they all bounced around ideas...thoughts...honesty... disappointments off one another. Hopefully the statement was made that if they're satisfied with the efforts of this past season and feel that they have given their absolute best....then the door there for them to walk through it with the upmost of blessings from the program. If they are not satisfied with what happened.....then this would be their time and chance to correct the wrongs and make it right to the best of their ability.

Fear just jumped down the throats of every team we play next year...our new stars can learn first hand from real stars...if you read what P Woody said he was speaking of the character that he will have a chance to build with teachers like XT, TD
