No kidding, sounds like the lightbulb has come on for him. He's gonna be awesome.
Cool to hear about Jake Venables too...the kid is a baller. A buddy of mine saw him plant KB into the turf a few years back at a high school football game when he was a Sophomore. He said the kid plays like a maniac.

This defense is so loaded, it’s hard to imagine another defense that would match up with talent and depth. If Brent likes where he is then I love where we are because it will be the first time I remember him being so confident this early in the year!
Shaq and Jake will be fun to watch if he lets Jake on the field lol!

Each year there were a handful of guys that when you heard their name, you would be excited about their potential and what big plays they would make. Now it's like there are guys at every position that you can't wait to see play. And not just the first string, but all over the two-deep. It's a great time to be a Clemson football fan.

I am excited about anybody and anything Brent Venables is excited about. It’s a big part of the game for me, to watch Coach Venables on the sideline. Just wouldnt be the same without him. I need a YouTube of Coach Venables’ highlights.
