Pollack did a Guided Scripture segment on my You Version Bible app that I follow. The only athlete or former athlete I've seen do one, as most are pastors, ministers or other related clergy. Was impressed with his genuine commitment and presentation. Always thought he was one of the few good guys at eSECpn.

I don’t necessarily think everything is woke either but if you think it isn’t a real thing in certain circumstances you’re incorrect. Jobs will hire minorities over qualified whites, I’ve been in meeting rooms discussing it. Our president has switched half of his views in his 70s for votes that he was against 10 years ago, that’s woke. It’s a real thing. Used in too many examples? Yes. But real.

Anti wokeness is a common theme in fundamental Christianity, especially in reformed circles. John Macarthur preaches against wokeness quite regularly. Wokeness is anti Christian because it advocates treating brothers in Christ differently because of their color. Color blindness is the Biblical standard. We are to "love thy neighbor as thyself.". We are not to love our white neighbor and black neighbor differently.

I always thought D. Pollack was one of the better personalities on GameDay. Solid knowledge for sure, but personable, and always seemed genuine and sincere. He, Herbie and Maria were always my favorites. Yes, I know, Kelly Bryant, blah blah..But she's umm.. Nice lol.

Lake Murray for nearly 40 years are about as big Dawg fans as they come.
Big Dawg banners, flags, etc, on their dock, boats and RV, and they never miss a Dawg game, regardless of venue. Fact is the wife's Dad was a longtime top assistant on Vince Dooley's staff, so UGA treats the whole family pretty darn well. I'll add they are about the nicest people one could know and were among the first complimenting with our two national titles.

My favorite Dawg is Prince Miller. He created the "Carolina Bulldogs". Travel football for 3 age groups some years back. My Grandson's were just a few of the white kids on the team. They won 2 AAU S.C. State Championships and other ages were runner ups. They joined a league in N.C. and went on to win the Queen City Championship and the N.C. Championship. They also beat teams in/or from Georgia, Florida , Tennessee, Virgina, Kentucky, Alabama and Texas. They played for the National Championship twice in Florida and and ended being the runner up each time. I say this about Prince because he demanded that their grades, work ethic, character and community were the most important. They had to show their grades to him and if not good he had a tutoring class every week that was mandatory. They also had to help with community service and fund raising for their trips. It was so organized with position coaches and hard discipline without cursing. These kids walked to the field like little soldiers full of confidence because he had prepared mind, body and soul. He even had A J Green and others from Georgia and other NFL players come and speak and practice with them. Those were some fun days as Pop's here as they called me had a great time traveling with my son to watch them. A lot of these kids now are doing well academically and playing High School and College ball and/or other sports. We need more people and coaches like Prince today working with our youth.
