Hopefully football will occupy most of their interest at that time. There will be lots of discussion then about a national sportswriter who dared to pick us to lose to Florida State. The disrespect from these pundits who are conspired to underestimate little 'ol Clemson will spark outrage here.

Yes, on here one of the reasons everyone thought it was so comical is, because most everyone predicted us losing to Morehead State, and only you and your 4 usernames (at least) thought we were actually a well-coached team.

I'd say a bit of the shine has worn off that one.
There were a lot of predictions on here of making a deep run in the tournament, a "historic" ACC season, a lot of build up for yet another big letdown. Some felt we were a tournament worthy team that got snubbed but Morehead came into our house and beat us. I'd say that's reason enough to stew over it for awhile.

Why does a single recruit in year 14 quell the criticism? This isn’t a guy who had a great 10 year run but slacked off for a couple years and we’re just getting a little restless. He’s hot garbage and has wasted over a decade of potential growth for this program. A one and done transfer changes nothing about Brownell’s ability.

Well before the transfers coming in, that may have been an accurate prediction. With the transfers and remaining core and coupled with the ACC being down we should finish in the top 3 and make NCAAs unless there are a lot of injuries. Excuse time up ……well excuse time is once again up

I noticed someone gave me one of those thumbs down reactions but didn’t reply.
I am on another website with a similar point system. The only difference is that the person hitting the reaction had to reply for it to stick. That pretty much eliminated frivolous and vendetta down votes because it required people to actually debate somewhat on the subject. Petty and frivolous downvoters couldn’t succeed without making an actual reply.
I’ve had a few downvotes, but I’m assuming they were people who didn’t like my tone or opinion, and if so that’s cool. But frivolous and petty isn’t cool.
Why hasn’t this website adopted that simple logic?

don’t understand that everyone doesn’t hate Brownell just because we complain about his lack of achievements at Clemson. I do NOT dislike him. I DO think he’s underachieved greatly after being here this long. I have to SEE it to believe it when he again talks about the possibilities for another upcoming season. I think he makes a LOT of money with not a lot to show for it. He’s lucky to still be employed at Clemson and he has to know that. I always want Clemson to be successful in all sports but have zero confidence that he can get us where we need to be after all these years.
