Sorry to the people who thinks we must accept any current, future, or former Tigers.
But this guy right here is a bad apple and I don’t like him. And I’m glad we don’t have to deal with him.
Tennessee is right where he belongs.
Thought Dylan Brewer and French going to Carolina was bad, but this is just obvious intent at backstabbing Clemson.

It’s not really a situation of being the bigger person.
LOL, it’s not like Billy actually made a personal attack at me specifically. And then I would have to be the bigger person and let it go.
He’s a Vol now, and a guy who spit on us. If you like to sit there and take it, go right ahead.
Clemson fans also have dignity as well as ability to let go.

Hey DSP, do you really see this Amick thing as anything but a longstandinging Clemson family betrayal due to a selfish tempertantrum?
Look if he doesnt want to be here, then we are better off not having him in games and sabotaging Clemson's chance to win.
But there is a family history of such sabotage. That is what makes this one different. Heck he very likely got an opportunity thanks to his family's Clemson connections and now he stabs the same place in the back that has given him an opportunity to shine.
You can call it what you want, but for me I'm not wishing him good luck. And he revoked his Clemson card IMO. Good riddance!
I haven't felt this way about any other transfer... EVER! This one is definitely different. Sad to say.

his coaches' vision, so he decided to go elsewhere where he is comfortable.
It happens.
There may be some feelings between coach and player, not everyone that works together is going to always get along or see every situation the same way - that's human nature. Happens in every walk of life, not just college baseball.
The kid had an All-American year, so if he stayed I would expect him to continue to give that consummate effort, and expect him to give the same exemplary effort to Tennessee and beyond, should life give him other opportunity. Sabotage? That's way more than a bridge too far.
You and others dragging your personal feelings, disappointment and knee jerk nonsense into this is on each of you, not Billy Amick or his family.

Nah, Dylan and French are good people. Coaching changes so I didn't have a problem with them transferring. I don't like that Billy transfered to Tennessee but he's good people too. Not sure what happened but I hate that it did.
Bakich wouldn't have played Billy if he was a bad apple.

Blatantly rubbing the nose of your former team and legacy program doesn’t bode well for him being good people. Snubbing your coach when he want to speak with you also doesn’t support this. I’m not gonna call him names, but I can’t say I wish him well. When someone spits in your face and you smile and wish them well, that doesn’t make you the bigger person. Taking that unnecessary high road is somewhat pretentious.

Let’s take the high road CU fans. Although I’m from Lexington County, I’ve never met the man nor any of his family that I’m aware of. He may have his own reasons for going to Tenn, that’s his business. Wish he hadn’t left CU either but I’m not going to throw him nor his family in the ditch for wanting to move on.

It’s not that deep man.
Billy obviously had some malice intent here with committing to the team that ended us. And the team that he got taken out against for Starbucks to bunt (Which was absolutely the worst move of the year by Bakich).
But he’s just plain and simple exactly what I called him. I’m glad he’s gone. Needs to grow up.
