Nov 29, 2021, 8:11 AM

And I got in my truck a minute ago I was all excited to turn the radio on to gamecock radio. Well boys I was rewarded right away. They’re talking about canceling the Ravelry. LOL LOL. GO TIGERS!!!

Of course they do, and they just might. They stick their noses up all year and brag about the mighty SEC, then we break that fantasy at the end of every year. How can they live the fantasy when we are like a bucket of ice water at 6AM?

There is a whole groop of Coot fans that were in puberty

Nov 29, 2021, 8:28 AM

during their "Five Bomb" streak. Those people were delirious with joy, thinking that was the way it was going to be from now on. They were not students of history, but instead were seduced by the Old Ball Sac's temporary success.

The OBS quickly bailed once he realized that repeated beatdowns were headed his way. Now, those Coot kids that were in puberty during their streak are young adults, tethered to a perennial loser of a school, and they cannot accept it. Sucks to be them. But, Hey, they'll always have those Five Bomb pictures. As a Clemson fan, but moreso as a decent human being, those pictures bother me still. Parents shouldn't exploit their children to do childish things when posing with a good hearted adult who was kind enough to take a picture with you, even though his team had lost to your school.

So, next time you look at those Five Bomb pics, remember this. They are the constant catalyst for Clemson to run this string out to double digits. Instant bulletin board material, even though none is needed.

As has often been said, the Internet is forever. So, you don't get a do-over. Enjoy it. Forever losses to Thee.

I'm reminded of all those pictures with the mostly young coots that asked for pictures with Dabo. Being the person he is he complied and they and spread those five fingers out. Those smirks and the comments when they hit social media are forever branded in my less-than-forgiving mind. Add in the F**K Dabo chants, the bottles thrown from the stands, the single finger gestures, etc. If I were a better person I might let it go at some point in time. I'm not, so let the beat downs continue!

Frankly...that's not a terrible idea.

Other than the annual a$$ kicking, the easy win, and the misery it evokes on the uof6c fans, there is no other real benefit to Clemson playing them. Their fans are vile and repugnant, their stadium is a crime riddled cesspool, they are beneath Clemson in every possible respect and category, each time they come to Clemson the mere presence of their fans immediately lowers the collective IQ and the property values, and playing them annually always lowers Clemson's strength of schedule ranking.

BigCUFan, I don't want to be one of "those" and it's like January of a new year - Uof7C now

I don' t think Beamer would go for that

Nov 29, 2021, 11:10 AM

He knows that they need to be competitive against us in order to be competitive in the state and the region. Right now, all they have is that they're SEC and they are in a city as opposed to us in the ACC and in the relative country. Our programs and schools couldn't be much more different than they are, in pretty much every measure.

If Beamer had settled for the field goal at the end to stop the shut-out, then maybe he'd consider throwing in the towel on the rivalry, but he showed some nuts and went for the TD, so I think he's going to commit to trying to raise their game to be able to compete with us. Because if they can't compete with a team in the "lowly ACC", then how can they compete with a team in the "mighty SEC"?? :D
