McNeese will be viewed as a trendy lower seed upset contender. Potential date w/ Purdue (last year's runner-up). Sweet 16 would be a potential date against Big 12 champ Houston.

Believe Sweet 16 is doable, but trying to match/beat last year's Elite 8 run will be tough.

I really like our chances of getting to the Sweet16 but I do not like the matchup with Houston. Knowing we'd probably end up on the 4,5 line of all the 1 seeds this the one I didn't want to see in our bracket. But hey, they surprised most of us last year.

I think we are underseeded a bit but not surprised by the 5 seed.

We are capable of losing to or beating anyone. McNeese is the trendy upset pick especially with Wade as their coach, but I believe we will be ready.

I like our second round matchup against Purdue or High Point.

Houston is outstanding but arguably the weakest of the 1 seeds.

I would feel a lot better about a run this year if Dillon Hunter were healthy and we had been shooting better these last few games, but I am optimistic that we will flip a switch like we did last year. Our experience will count for a lot.
