wanted to fire him early in the season then defended him during that mid to late season run. Frankly, we're a football school, always have been and always will be. Something radical will have to happen before we become as competitive in basket ball as we are in football.
I haven't seen anything that radical yet. I have no idea what it will take so I usually remain silent about how to fix the program.

have all had their moments; it's not easy - with that said, clemson's basketball program should be better than zero tournament appearances in 5 years with only 1 NIT appearance in that stretch to break up that monotony.
It should be and it will be be not the same - fingers crossed though.

During the late Bowden- Purnell era Basketball was more successful and a more entertaining product to watch than football. I never really had much faith in us converting a 3rd down until Boyd and Sammy got here. It was pitch it to CJ and hope, or throw a bubble screen when the entire D was focused on CJ. Both got replaced and took programs in a similar place into two very different directions. We have had a better history in football but we have had our moments in basketball.

Maybe you're a little upset that we don't get that hype during football season. We fared pretty well after we got past FSU last year but I'd agree with you that we should have been favored to beat OU in the Orange Bowl.

I happened to think Oklahoma looked good until they played Nova. They did make it to the final 4. However, the blow out that Nova administered is just mind boggling.

OK is having bad game!! they are very good team; mujch better than `nova!! if they played tomorrow they would win by 15!they beat `nova by 20 early in the season!
