Maybe just getting Walker Parks back along with John Williams healthy may be the boost we need? Of course coupled with a solid OL coach.

we played lots of combinations this year. While Luke wasnt here I hope this will help him in setting up the rotation going forward. We always seem to have minimal numbers at this position and I know getting the right 5 on the field is always a weekly challenge due to that

We definitely seem to have a different philosophy. If you look at some of the elite OL programs, nearly all of them carry at least 20.

agreed slwcu. Self-imposed penalty--& alot of other coaches I know feel the exact same way. Limits your chances of hitting on a prospect. Compare our OL success with our peers. No reason CLEM can't be elite at OL like it is DL. Still think Luke will get that number to rise a bit.... Again, from what I know change is coming as it pertains to this.....maybe not as fast as we want, nor is CDS going to advertise it.

Leigh, Tate, Sewell, Parks, Miller, Sadler, and Howard all have starting experience. They will be our top 7 for next year. I think all of them make huge leaps under Luke. So solid group there.
Bryn Tucker will be a 5th year senior and he's never played. Not going to expect much from him.
Linthicum and Pennington were highly rated and in year 4 now. It's now or never with them.
Reed and Owens will be in year 2. Owens has a huge upside. Reed probably needs one more year.
Ronan O'Connell, Watson Young, and Elyjah Thurmon all probably redshirt.
Assuming no one leaves, there's 15 offensive linemen right there. 7 of them have started games and have a ton of experience. Linthicum, Pennington, and Owens have a chance to contribute next year if they improve under Luke, which should be expected.
DE is a far more concerning position than OL, in my opinion.

I agree LT the need is most defiantly de. hopefully Rumph pushes Dabo to reach out to the portal.

Is DE really a concern if 1 or 2 of the DT's are to help ? I ask this because,barring someone leaving ,there's an abundance at DT and there's no way to get them all on the field LOL

I feel like we've been lacking an elite edge rusher for so long. I don't think moving a DT to DE would solve that problem. But if they want Woods to beat Wilkins, then so be it.

Yea. I really want to see our OL get a little mean streak. I think that’s a big part that has been missing. They don’t play with the attitude that you see from some of the best OLs out there.

Fully agree that getting those guys back will be a big help.
But we don’t have depth to absorb injuries. We need some depth.
