FSU hasn't really recruited that well under Norvell. He's relied too much on the portal, while it should be used to fill in roster deficiencies primarily.

Plus, they got some solid players (albeit on paper) from the portal.
I wouldn't rush to post that they're worse off because of the portal after one game.

DJ missed any longer throw he tried, and they don't have a deep threat anyway.
Coleman won the game for them last year, while our best WR was a freshman. They might not be as good but they lost a lot to the NFL. My point is that the portal could make them better even if they lost today.

No they didn’t. FSU went undefeated last year. If they would’ve focused on recruiting and developing the past 3 years, they wouldn’t be in this predicament.

No I’m sure they improved. I mean they lost by 60 to UGA like a G5 the last time they played and now they are taking a 7-6 GT team down to the wire.

It's obvious that the portal has some good players, usually moving up from smaller schools. It has potential. But to think you should draft the portal for your entire roster????? This is as much proof that drafting your entire roster has as much success as not drafting at all.... Next

According to Athlon, FSUs entire starting offense are seniors. There are three more in the overall two deep, so 14/22 will be gone next year. Maybe some will opt out before the season ends depending on how it turns out. Includes Lucas, Moore, Benson, DJU, and Toafili.
If they missed with this portal class they could be in serious trouble next year as well.
