What he says is true. Our scheme was a joke (and that’s why Dabo was so quick to pull the trigger @ OC)
But, DJ is living in delusion if he doesn’t think he shouldered half the blame.

have said anything about the coaches seeming to be afraid to let him loose. Not because it sounds like he is casting blame, but because it's super cringe if you know better.

Clemson. I, also, appreciate his calm dignity while at CU.
My take all along has been a misread by our staff on his capabilities at Clemson's level of play; i.e. I believe he would have fared better at a program like San Diego State, maybe, even Boise State or Hawaii.
Regardless, I never put much stock in nor lose sleep over what a former team member says off the cuff; hence, why I hope he'll find success with the Oregon State program.

Bottom line is DJ fell short here. He needs to realize that. And the coaching staff had to adjust accordingly. He should be thankful that the coaching staff gave him more than enough leeway to make good and he did not! Probably left him in too long before making a change to Cade!

Bubble screen may be a joke play call, but that had nothing to do with DJU throwing the ball at the receiver feet on about half of those bubble screens.
