So that's the real question...

are there actually more accidents?
I can say for certain that I am hearing about them more... but that's just me. Is it in the news more, for some reason?
Are the recent ones just unusually bad?
IF this is normal, and just being reported more, then why? What's the narrative and who's driving it?

Over coverage happens in the internet age. What used to be a story that would remain local (or maybe get a blurb on national news), is now all over the internet. My uncle was a conductor on a train that derailed back in the 80s. The train rolled down a hill in the Spartanburg area. Pretty bad accident. It was in the Spartanburg Herald, but I don't even think it made the news for the entire state.
In a country of 350 million people and a land area the size of the US, #### happens.

federal class-action lawsuit Tuesday, alleging the derailment was caused by the railway company's negligence in operating the train, defects in their track system or in one or more of their cars – resulting in the exposure of hundreds of people to "toxic chemicals, fumes, and carcinogens" and evacuation orders, court records show."
Shouldn't they be suing Bill Gates? Presumably, it doesn't matter that these derailments are, in all likelihood, being caused by aging equipment and technology, particularly in braking systems. Some of of the freight cars are still using what is essentially post-Civil War technology. But sure...this is intentional sabotage by a globalist elite, which totally makes more sense.

lost knowledge and lack of give a F that many of the boomers took with them in retirement.
throughout industries, you're seeing production, processes, and operations suffer because people are incompetenant, and/or they DGAF.
It's the same from the US Transportation Secretary all the way down to the railroad tech who is in-charge of greasing rail car wheels and everyone in between.
It's going to keep getting worse, btw.

corporation rather than to sue the government. I'm sure the company will shell out billions of dollars and the government will end up bailing them out again.
And obviously I don't think it's literally Bill Gates, but it is an anomaly and it should be a high priority for the federal government... if they actually existed to protect us... which of course they don't.
