personally, I would not blame Taisun if he hit the transfer portal tomorrow. It should be more than painfully obvious that Dabo is not going to play him, come what may.
This situation goes completely against Dabo's past actions. Normally, if a player puts in good work at QB, he gets at least a little meaningful playing time. Not the case this year.
I can only surmise that for whatever reason, Dabo is truly afraid that DJ will bail out on us if he is benched at any point in time. And if that is the case, then, again, Dabo's handling of it goes against everything that he has previously ever done. It is truly a ball scratching situation.

He's played a bit but maybe they arent thinking he is 100% and they dont want to push him. Some of the throws DJ misses confound me. Like when shipley was just in front of him why whip a fastball at him

That last incompletion to Ross was the only ball I saw thrown with touch all night. Even the first touchdown was a heater that Ross managed to snag just because he was far enough away from it to have time to react.

We have problems at EVERY position on O

don’t see a qb at this point on our roster that could overcome that. Then you throw in the dismal play calling and scheming so you go with the most talented and hope he gets better. Which is DJ. It is what it is. There need to be changes tried at other positions before qb IMO

The seemingly only explanation is that Taisun is not 100% healthy. I wouldn’t have thought he would be back yet.

Maybe DJ should bail? Maybe he would feel more comfortable back home on the west coast. He sure does not look comfortable here.

to be ready for the season. He’s done well when he has gotten to play.
Unless he’s awful in practice, it’s hard to imagine why he hasn’t gotten a series here or there to see what he can do.
