Swinney vows to jump in Lake Hartwell for OrTre Smith
Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney vowed to jump in Lake Hartwell if OrTre Smith gave a verbal commitment to the Clemson coaching staff following last Friday’s All In Cookout, and while Smith didn’t pull the trigger on a commitment he is getting closer to a decision date. Full Story » |

Tough decision for the young man.
Don't let early PT be the only thing you consider! Clemson is sending guys pro so fast (and playing so many receivers) that you'll play pretty dang early both places!
NFL scouts think of Clemson first when looking for talent

Did he secretly/silently jump in the lake? If so, then did he dive, cannon ball, jack knife, belly flop, or back buster? Big splash or small and 'silent' splash? I need the details please.

He did the unintentional Nut buster with nothing silent about it, and it wasn't a big slash bc of a couple of nuts absorbed the impact!!!

I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. ..wait, yes I would.
I thought Dabo had brass balls. Wouldn't him doing a nut buster sound like a Christmas bell ensemble? Not to silent unless it rings out as 'Silent Night'

I would love to get this kid as the next one...

But I just see how he commits to us with the talent at the WR in place. Could we possibly move him to TE or is this kid just that good to where you MAKE room for him in the rotation??

That's what I was thinking to but is he willing to make the transition to TE?

He's going to be a great WR at Clemson
Jul 26, 2016, 10:26 AM
|

I wish we had recruited him harder earlier but he took off last season.
He's coming into his body control and his speed an ability is just beginning to grow. He has a high ceiling for huge improvement under the right coaches and learning from the right players.
His chance at a high draft and NFL chance is at Clemson by many miles. Even our second and third string WR's have gotten a shot and made it in the NFL. No other team can claim that or close to that.
I wish him the best either way but hope he doesn't give that high draft pick up by not coming to Clemson. It's a true blessing to be a WR at Clemson.
Come to Clemson!! Go Tigers!!!

i got to think that some of these goobers are just trying to be funny. it is very scary to think otherwise. surely these guys are not really as stupid as some of their posts make them out to be.

finish higher than Kentucky and Vandy in SEC's little sister East division. Anything better than that and a possible bowl trip to an early December exotic locale like Mobile or Shreveport each year is just icing on the Coot's cake.
You're only in school for a few years. Do you really want to spend your time rebuilding or playing for National Championships. It's really an easy choice when you think about.

It's the time of year that football is in the air. For the Tiger fans that love keeping up with the recruiting news, it's feels like the time since TH committed has been forever. Starving for more good recruiting news. Although the preseason talk is good,. It's aways repeating subjects over and over again. Top 10, Top 25, predictions from everyone , last year verses this year and players, coaches attending a news event.. Opening emails and noticing a current update from Tiger land is excitement but quickly relize it just another article about a recruit has the Tigers in their list or someone spoke at some event.
Maybe it's just me starving for that first kickoff.
NEED MORE exciting news, really bad..
