I've got Hulu w/Live TV...and if you travel (Jax to ATL in this case) they let you switch over for local channels, but only a few times before you're stuck. This prevents multiple users, I guess, in different areas.

How does YouTubeTV deal with the local channels and use the account in different places?

I had issues with this while in the UAE. It was worthless..

With youtube tv, it goes by your location so if you travel

then your local channels will be wherever you are currently. However, I don't think it let's you record anything out of your normal area location.

Youtube tv lets you switch your home market twice in a calendar year. That enables watching locals for that specific area. I believe the intent is to support snowbirds who spend the Winter in Florida as an example. Mobile devices can used in different locations and treated as a short term out of home market. Pretty flexible in my view.
