Since cockfighting is illegal pretty much everywhere in the US and is clearly a case of animal cruelty/abuse or whatnot, and given the climate of political correctness causing all sorts of sports teams to deal with 'offensive' mascots, I propose starting a petition or movement or whatever with the humane societies, PETA, and whatever other groups that would be suitably outrage and then sit back and enjoy THAT show.

I like that idea, haha. Then again, they may change their mascot over the whole deal, and I don't think they could come up with a dumber alternative if they tried. They would probably pick bullcats or batdogs.
