I haven't heard much from Ryan but I do listen to Walt when I can. I think they are on at the same time. Who do you like better?

Ryan, is a trolling idiot. He surfs social media and spins issues to rile up callers and bring attention to himself. I've got no use for so called "media" people like that.
I've never listened to Deptula

As you say you listen to him when you can, perhaps you can fact check him for me. I caught maybe 15 min of his show yday and he was going through some game spreads and picks - believe he said it was from draft kings or one of the betting services/apps. Anyway, he made the remark that he “called the 35-0 halftime score of the Oregon - Colorado game…”. Do you recall hearing that?
Personally, I enjoy Mickey, Qualk, Kelly and the morning/early aft crews. Walt, however, I just can’t get past the (‘perceived’?) arrogance. Although he is knowledgeable and obviously puts in the work to know the players, teams, coaches, etc. He just comes across to me as ‘that guy’ that is not only full of himself, but also when he is wrong, he either never admits it or brings it up.
I don’t listen enough to have caught him in a ‘lie’, but I’ve read others claiming he has on occasion. I just find it hard to believe he ‘called’ the halftime score. In fairness, I wasn’t buying the Deion/Colorado hype, and thought the Ducks would win. I just didn’t see the beat down coming.

If he didn't call it exactly it was because he had Oregon up by even more at the half. I remember from last week and the only thing he got wrong on that game was the over busting.

Kelly hasn't been with the station in a year or so.

Never listened to Marc. Walt is a great radio host. He generates lots of calls and texts. Doesn’t dominate the show. Informed and prepares every show. Enjoy the back and forth with Ramona. His recall of miscellaneous sports information is unparalleled. Probably a MENSA guy.

I prefer listening to Breaking Points with Saagar Enjeti and Krystal Ball.

Marc Ryan is a typical media sensationalist, playing on the emotions of fans with hot button topics and headlines.
Walt Deptula is more consistent in his approach, very confident in his opinions, and takes the sensationalism to a minimum.
Some say both are a bit egotistical. Marc's show is interesting to listen to, but you're not going to get much substance from it. I think he's pissed off a lot of Clemson personnel/leadership with his 'information' (see Brad Brownell comments coming from Neff). He's going to be all over rumors and is looking for anything that might be breaking news. Walt does a deeper dive into things, but people get really upset when he's so confident in his opinions and turns out to be wrong. Walt isn't going to deliver late breaking news before anyone else, and won't really address rumors.
Pick your poison.

Reaction. That’s all he really cares about. It feels like audience manipulation, so I’m not really a fan of that style.
Walt manipulates the audience in a different way by giving strong opinions of what will happen and then never mentioning it again when he’s wrong so listeners get the perception that he’s right almost always when it’s really more like half the time.
