Biggest threat for Loss left on the schedule
Oct 3, 2022, 2:57 PM

Computer says FSU (71% favorites to win) or Notre Dame (65 favorites to win) every other game we are 85% or higher to win. My guess is the Notre Dame game. They have the best players of all the teams left on our schedule and ND at night is a tough place to play. Their young coaching staff makes them vulnerable to bad play calling, lacks of adjusting on the fly or time mismanagement. i think that's why we win but it will be 1 score tight type of game IMO. thoughts?

I Feel Very Good About All Remaining Games

Having the bye for ND makes me feel really good about it. If we can also get 100% healthy, I don't see anyone except Bama and UGA as threats.
If I Had to pick one game, it would be maybe FSU.

FSU, Notre Dame and Syracuse. Any of those teams could beat us. Next level BC and Miami. This Saturday is a tough, long trip, game after 2 huge emotional games.

Well, Im not really worried yet, but Syracuse is 5-0. Haven't looked at any of their games, so don't really know much about them. If they end up beating FL St, then we may need to study their chances at that stage!

I think 'Cuse is an okay team but out of the Dome against a good team they're vulnerable. I think Clemson will beat them handily in DV. I'm not sold on their QB...

Miami has good players. Whether Mario's Cristo Balls can get them to play well (or to remember where they are supposed to be during a play) ... who knows?
But Miami could beat us if they stop with their self-destructiveness and if we have a bad game.
FSU (lots of good players and OK coaching) and N.Dame (ditto) on the road could also beat us; we'll need to play like we did against NC State to beat both of those teams.

I think it's ND as well, they should better when the Tigers play them, should be a close game.

These are 20 yo kids but even for adults sometimes something happens, momentum swings and you stand there, helpless to stop it. Been there had it happen, seen it happen, expect it to happen in the future in spite of a team's best efforts and intentions.

Can’t overlook any game, and can’t use any game other teams have played as evidence of a win. Everyone plays their BEST game against Clemson no matter what their record is we are going to get their most focused version of their team.

The biggest threat right now is BC. Don't put the cart before the horse.

Any team on any given day.. look at everyone else in the top ten at some point struggling with a team they shouldn’t.. but if I had to pick FSU and ND on the road. If Syracuse was on the road I’d be more worried.

I think the Irish since it's in South Bend at night. They'll be looking for a win against a decent team to make their season...

I'd say FSU is our biggest threat. Obviously our weakness is depth at corner and FSU has recievers that can take advantage of that. I dont think anyone else has the talent to challenge our db's.
As a side note Syracuses defense is really underrated, they might have the best secondary in the conference.
