for personal gain. I think it's safe to say the Trump family and other insiders bought in before the announcement was made. Naming the specific currencies they supposedly plan on buying seems counterproductive, since those currencies in particular will now be much more expensive than before.

A lot of his crazy is orchestrated. You can bet there are many, many people making money off of the effects his crazy has on markets. I don't think he's smart enough to do this himself, but he can be baited into doing and saying things so easily that any one of 100 people could help manipulate a market price by triggering the idiot.

What's the point of having a government crypto reserve when the US dollar is the global reserve currency? Other than enriching insiders who know what to buy and when, that is. Is the goal to crash the economy and devalue the dollar into oblivion? Legitimizing crypto certainly won't help the dollar.

Actually creating a crypto reserve would just be using government funds to make people money. We’ve legitimately not seen the government used like that in more than a century if at ever.

The crypto bros spent a lot of money getting Trump elected because they were promised a big pay day.
This is the essence of Trumpism. You want action, just put your cash on the barrel head, then cut him in and he’ll do the rest, while selling the country down the river on all fronts. This whole business with Trump coin and Melania coin, Liberty World Financial and the kind of snakes brought in to advise them, Justin Sun and Brad Garlinghouse, it’s patently obvious Trump is using the White House for self-enrichment at the expense of everything else.
How does the government getting onto what is essentially a tech-centered gambling enterprise benefit the American people?
