leading us down this path towards exit from the ACC and a new affiliation, whatever that may be. I was impressed with the Monte Lee firing and it was obvious that he had done his homework and had Bakich already in the fold before he made the move. I think he has the respect of the Board of Trustees, and appears to be a deep thinker and very methodical. He’s not afraid to fire underperforming coaches when it appears they will not work out.

I know the “Fire Brad” contingent (and honestly, I have reluctantly become one of them) will be upset and disagree but after today’s announcement it is obvious to me that Neff has had his plate full over the past several months with a priority issue and that he has a plan and will address the future of basketball in good order in the near future.
