On second thought. I despise everything about that conference and their arrogance.
It’s basically sports over everything in the SEC. There really is no worry for academics and integrity. You got to feel like at some point, enough time in the SEC would rub off on Clemson a tiny bit.
If we can make more money in the ACC, I am all for it.
And no, the BIG10 is even worse. I don’t want Joel Klatt discussing our betting odds everyday.

I can see, I guess, used to an easy path that you don't want in the Big Boy Conference. Too much competition for the weak hearted. Kind of like welfare. Want wins handed to you instead of strapping it up and earning them.

You've won a 'game' here and there. Go through the grind and check your record. I would say if we were 7-5 here that would translate to no worse than 9-2 and sometimes 10-1 there. You know that.
We like Clemson, love the competition and want you guys in with us. I know it wears a team down but can you imagine playing Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and Kiffin at Ole Miss? Yes, that's all in one conference.

Every season like we did in the 80's. From 1977-1991(except 88-89) the 2 teams split wins going 6-6-1. I like playing games like that instead of against the Coots. Border rivalry games are the best! Oh, and in 88-89 we split with FSU who was an independent at the time. They beat us in Death Valley on a trick-the puntroostie and we destroyed them in Tally.

And please do show any team that has ever played that schedule. You cannot because no team ever has nor ever will they play that schedule. Look at your gauntlet this year: Austin Peay, UTSA, UConn, Missouri, Vanderbilt - so you are guaranteed 5 wins. Getting close to 7 already. Playing Bama and UGA - respect for those two. Good luck and go to your own board.

I've noticed the teams that are usually losers in the SEC do most of the bragging about the other teams that are winners in the SEC. Coattail riding must be fun!

So you beat Clemson once and think you’re better? Y’all are worse now than you were when Fulmer was there.
Tennessee hasn’t done squat in forever, even last year in their best year in forever. Y’all literally took the goal post out of the stadium beating Alabama on a last second FG. A game y’all should’ve lost, but Saban doesn’t know how to get a good kicker and he missed.
We’ve beaten Alabama twice for a national championship. Once 44-16. You don’t even get to come and argue about anything that’s happened in the past decade. When your coach gets 6 straight CFPs and 2 national championships you can come talk. But for now, y’all are Orange Bowl winners at best. Trevor Lawrence seemed to be a perfect fit for Tennessee with his #16 and being hyped like Manning, but guess what, we have the better program. He wanted to win. He came to Clemson and went to 2 championships and went 38-2. Losing to LSU and Ohio State in the CFP.
Even when we weren’t elite, we beat LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Georgia, Auburn, multiple good FSU teams, and others I know I’m forgetting.

What irks me about the B1G don't forget is how most of those liberal schools were ok sitting back in 2020 and watching the SEC and even the ACC start their football season almost on time and playing practically a full season while the scared 10 (other than OSU and Nebraska who spoke out) waited until Halloween to start. Tells you all you want to know about the B1G.

There are definitely differences between SEC and ACC. ACC is in demise because they have not handled those differences properly.

But the ACC is dreadfully boring. I'd much rather play South Carolina, Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee and Alabama than play the likes of Wake Forest, Virginia, Duke, BC, VT and Syracuse. The reason the SEC makes more money is they have a better product. The ACC is full of garbage teams and Clemson and FSU are chained to them. It's like Jack and Rose chaining themselves to the Titanic. We may be a big player but we are chained to the losers. We should have left the ACC years ago.
