the ACC added these three teams. It changes nothing. It only adds value until Clemson can leave. Not much value but at least some. It’s not like we just got locked into another 24 months of direct tv or anything.

I think I also read where some additional money was allotted for travel. I think the fact that Clemson, FSU and UNC voted against it was to show other conferences they aren’t happy and are willing to talk behind the scenes.

Sure, screw the additional wear and tear of travel and more time away from campus for our student athletes. Why should that matter at all...

Women’s soccer just took a road trip to Utah. Volleyball is going to New Orleans and Florida back to back weeks. Let alone the conference trips to Indiana, Pittsburgh and Boston.

A trip out to Cali every other year won’t kill them

And Texas. And it depends on how they schedule games for Cal and Stanford. It isn't going to line up perfectly that all schools can get both schools scheduled in the same week so some will spend an extra week to CA and possibly Texas unless they alternate those home-away trips every other year.

I get that they are young and can handle it but it is an added burden they don't have now for the most part. Certainly nothing convenient about it for anyone involved.

And don't forget they still have to go between Miami and Boston in their current travel schedule. Just adds a lot of time away from campus and less of the college experience for them not to mention the added time away from the classroom.

$60 Million as incentives for football success could be HUGE

Let's just say $5 Million goes toward the ACC Champion. $10 Million goes toward a team making the Playoffs. $15 Million for winning a national Championship.

This will actually benefit Clemson the most.

Agreed. In ten years time none of this matters anyways. Just safe harbor until the actual change happens and a new organization replaces the NCAA

volleyball, etc teams.

They dont fly private. Also, they have like 3-5 games in a week sometimes. And these people dont get paid like football players do. they play for the sport and an education.
