I dont understand this thought that the team needs a few games before they would accept a QB change

They are at practice every single day. They see both QBs every single day. Im sure its apparent to every single one of them who the better QB is. Why delay the inevitable? What more needs to be seen? Can someone explain this theory that a change cannot be made until the team says it can?!

Change is not needed at the QB position at this time.

Hogwash! At this stage of the season CU is playing the best QB. If later in the season this is not a true fact, then the Coaching Staff will make a change. Us armchair coaches have no real clue as to who is the best QB.

I just think the one drive is such a small sample size. Dude obviously lit it up and has me excited but DJ has 16 games of experience under his belt and learned under TL. That’s a lot of experience to ask a coaching staff to ignore. A lot of comfort in experience.

It is not 16 games of experience, it is 16 times one game of experience. He had 12 games of experience last year, and he looks no better than he did in the first game against Ga.
