The guy with the most to prove after DJ is Sheridan Jones

He's played a lot over the years which means Reed has a lot of confidence in him, but quite frankly there is a lot of bad tape on him out there. I don't know the exact number, but he's given up a lot of TDs. It was pretty telling that every highly drafted WR last year that had ever played Clemson had Jones getting beaten for a TD on their draft highlight reel. I fully expect every Offensive Coordinator that watches film on our personnel to attack him early and often. Usually he's in decent position, but even when the coverage appears good, WRs still caught the ball. If he struggles early by getting picked on by opposing teams, look for the fix to be Mukuba lining up opposite of Wiggins at the other corner spot. Often our corners who've struggled early in their careers, put it all together their Senior year and play well. Here's to hoping that'll be the case for Sheridan.

Ngata has a lot to prove as well. One could argue that he has more to prove than Sheridan, considering how high his ceiling is.

see. It really shows how high his ceiling is. He also he had >100 yards receiving vs Georgia's Defense.

I don't think you can objectively say Jones has been "good"

Even Dabo in one of his pressers lamented that Sheridan had lost his confidence. Fortunately though, they said he's regained it. We'll see if he can maintain it.

A lot of pressure coming from those young guys behind him this season. Will be interested to see if he steps up.
