Remember the glory days of the 70's til now, "DABO" has brought an unbelievable winning program together, about respecting players & coaches on & off the field. I've looked at alot of other forums that copycat Clemson, even we are big brother to uscuck, they want beamer to pull qb, follow in our foot steps. Everybody talks about culture, it wasn't said until "DABO" got here. Our name is at the top, Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia & Michigan (which ain't much). When DABO SAYS SOMETHING IT'S BY THE HEART!.

all the reactionary fans want to see proof in a game mid season that they will win a harder game at years end

Anyone with more than two brain cells knows that Dabo's teams do not peek until the season end. We usually come out an put on a clinic with USCe then win the bowl game, many times the PO games.
This place is doom and gloom throughout most seasons.

Do you remember the adage that says you're only as good as your last game. But that also goes for your last season in sports. The talent on this 2022 team was suppose to be pretty near as good as we've had since Dabo with the exception of the QB'S, but this O L was suppose to be good enough that our running game was suppose to be good enough to take up the slack of losing a QB like Trevor Lawrence, but it was thought that DJ was going to be MUCH better than he has been.
Dabo has done what Clemson fans has dreamed of being for many many years, but sometimes, Dabo's stubbornness gets in the way of what's for him and the team as a whole, and I'll leave it at that!!!

bought our entire team like, say ... Jimbo Fisher.
We may suffer at some point from not getting into the current “pay to play” arms race, but winning and not succumbing to the current trends is very gratifying to me.

I agree with ya'll, that "pay to play" don't want it to turn into a thug (miami) or we recruiting out the prison system (georgia), DABO changed alot of things for the university. Years ago, we were satisfied winning 10 games & going to the Gator bowl, look at us now. IT WAS DABO THAT GOT US HERE. Look at our junior college, Carolina, they can only wish in the next 50yrs they can do what we have done.

Don't know exactly what that means, but there is a difference when most coaches from other schools are trying to duplicate Dabo, most fans are trying to bash him, he looks at recruits that will excel our program. Don't need no rotten apples that carry the ball & can't pass the grade, not many schools have a team that graduates in 3 years. Dabo, brings the most talented, best of character, have honor & respect for family. YOU GO DABO, SORRY, "MR DABO"! U "THE MAN"!!!!!!

Only the last couple years of the 70s was memorable. Danny build upon a winning culture though Pell gets credit for founding it.

right now it's not clear that we'll get in if we win out. Of course, there's a high probability that we'll get in if we win out - but at the moment it's not a slam dunk. The eye test is important and we haven't looked that great. I don't think that Syracuse is a great team, above average to pretty good. We got lucky and pulled it out.
