By ladies do you mean players? Do you refer to our football players as gentlemen? Seems degrading that you need to state a gender or social class instead as simply being a softball player.

Highly doubt you can find a single post during football season where our football players were referred to as gentlemen. Most use guys, players or team. Using "ladies" is an attempt at condensation where female athletes require and additional descriptor so we all know you think they are something less than simply a team or athletes. Since there is only one softball team the gender descriptor is redundant at best and intentionally condescending at worst.

or if it was in the works before him...but it's really the best AD decision since hiring Dabo. An absolute natural fit for Clemson, and it boggles the mind why we didn't have a softball program before.
