That Thursday night crew. Ughhhhh! Those SEC homers will be painful to watch and hear. "SEC speed", "##########", "ACC, fifth in the Power 5", etc. Just for fun, you should sit there with a clicker-counter and count each time they say "SEC" during a broadcast where two teams that AREN'T SEC teams are playing!
What would the over-under be on that?

Palmer is insufferable moron though, and he's the one that really started all of the "SEC SPEED" garbage. I think he was also the one that said the SEC West was the 9th best division in the NFL last year. Obviously before they collapsed in January.

are financially hamstrung by Disney at the moment so they are probably stuck with who they have. OTOH they could do some addition by subtraction with the likes of Mike Patrick, Ed Cunningham, Jessie Palmer etc. I'd rather have complete silence than those clowns.

He looks like a ######, but he is much more entertaining than the douche-extrordinaire-Ed Cunningham.
Ed McDonough and Chris Spielman are the best combo, though. Ed is a consummate professional, and doesn't get the accolades he deserves as a play by play guy. Spielman has great insights and sees what is happening really well.
I really think though that there are many bloggers and fans that could learn to be entertaining color analysts if given the chance. HS coaches would probably make for good ones, too.
I like Mike Patrick even though he stumbles over his tongue 12 times a game, but I hate Ed Cunningham. The only irony is that we usually win when they do our games. (sans GT game last year)
