Are we really doing "better" than Alabama by having 75% of our 5 star recruits drafted, while they have had 68.2%? They have put over 2.5x as many 5 star players in the NFL compared to us.
We are fifth in total 5 star players drafted, which is still great. That's nothing to minimize. No reason to fudge the data to try to make it look better.
Using this graphic about percentages, are you willing to conclude that Stanford is doing the best job with 5 star players? LOL.

Recruiting is.
That's why we need to be able to hire great assistants and staff members, and be on the forefront of facility enhancements. You know, the same things that allowed our football team to more consistently recruit 5-star players.

So, this is a fantastic graphic to show a 5 star, giving them probability they will be drafted based on past history. However, when it comes to providing ultimate talent to the NFL, this would indicate that Bama puts far more prospects into the NFL via draft despite being slightly less efficient.
This also does not specify as to "where" they were drafted. It would be interesting to see something that included weighting for say first round vs third round.

JK you may be a great guy but you personally lose all credidibily with me in defending an average coach and thinking that is the best we can do.
Has the first round loss to Morehead St in the first round of the NIT not sank in? Come on, like him or dislike him Clemson can do better than BB.

I think UGA & FSU have some recruits that were just overrated to begin with. DJ was an example of one we had being overated, not saying he won’t get a shot in the NFL but I’ll be surprised if he does make it. You?

and he was recruited by Clemson to play in an RPO style offense that is more suited to a dual-threat type QB.
I never quite followed the logic in this decision making.

Nope not sure which coach thought that to be a great idea. I think they were just looking at the stars on him. Guy did not look like he fit in the day he stepped on campus. Reminded me of a Ben Roethlisberger type QB.
