where you gheybois get yur chicken from?

as in, the part of the chicken that's from the bewbie area dat's white meat and you toss on the grill?

past few breasts I've eaten from my go-to Cost de Co have been tough/chewy? I think the term for it is called woody? srs is fur reelz

Ok, but seriously, what's up with the chicken breasts these days? Just cranking hormones in them so they grow quick and cheap enough? Is organic chicken free of roids?

I hate to go down this rabbit hole, but man, some of the way they get food to us these days is messed up. And the stuff that's grown "right" is 10x the price. Is there a happy medium?

We eat a ton of chicken. Maybe 2 nights a week, plus we typically eat some for lunches by meal prepping various bowls, salads, etc.

I'm leaning towards not buying the regular Costco chicken packs anymore given the last few I've had have not been good. But like errbody else, dat inflation hitting home already on the food/grocery front.

are chock full of steroids or hormones or something. They are YUGE, but cheapest I can find. I either "pound the breastseses" with a mallet to flatten them and tenderize them some, or I slice them horizontally because they are so fat.

Sam's Club.

Gheybois don't shop there. As much chicken as your family eats it would be worth the membership fee just to pickup fresh chicken every week or two.

I am not happy wit Sam's chicken pieces processing.

Sep 7, 2023, 4:53 PM

the meat's OK, but apparently they cut down on the precision processing, so they can charge me more for including extra skin, etc.
