I don’t believe

That any of the supporters of coach Brownell believe that the Tigers are the best team in college basketball. It is very obvious that they are not. Many of us who continue to support him do however believe that the Tigers are deserving of a place in the final tournament. Virginia is a better team that Clemson. I accept that fact. There are several teams who the “experts” claim to be better than the Tigers who clearly aren’t! Clemson had several bad loses this year. No one can dispute that fact. However, The Tigers had some really good wins also. Quite a lot actually.
This team was considerably better than last years team. I can see no reason why next years teams will not be a better team. A lot of talent returns. Hopefully a new player or two will come on board to help the cause. One thing is for certain .... the AD IS NOT going to follow the advice of you who aren’t happy!
Don’t bash this team for not living up to your expectations.

And that is the problem. A good coach can come in, get top recruits in the state, get a few transfers, usher out the guys who are just not good enough, win close games and compete for championships. If you don’t believe we can then you are part of the problem.

Our expectations are at least making the NCAA Tournament on a regular basis and with the ACC having it's worst year that anyone can remember, making it this year is not an unreasonable expectation on anyone's part. There is a very good chance we are left out again. We have been patient with the lump of coal we call a head coach for 13 seasons with his lowly three appearances in the NCAA Tournament. Your expectations are way off if you consider that successful.

Yea it’s unfortunate but the standards for the Clemson’s MBB program are not very high in comparing it to the other sports programs on campus.
Virginia has a great coach and it’s been very evident since he took over.

years ago, and we would not have a break even record, inside or outside the conference. Brownell has coached down to the level of competition, and below it, just enough to keep us out of the Dance yet again, I fear. It would be a pleasant surprise if we got in, but I would not expect us to do damage even if that were the case. All a team has to do is zone us, force us out a foot further away from the basket, and watch our shots come up short.

That have won the ACC championship over the last 10 years? Basketball powerhouses like VT and Notre Dame and Florida State. Brownell has never even played for one. He is being judged over his body of work not just this season. He is just not good enough. We have had 13 years to figure that out. Bobby Richey is on deck. Go get him.

Do you know why Clemson does not play Furman?

Because Brad is scared. Scared of Furman. If you’re a Brownell fan that’s your guy.

I don’t understand the “who’s in who’s out” logic .. just saw where they have us first four out and NC State as last four in. Didn’t we beat them 3 times this year? As for Brad, this was a good season as compared to past seasons, and no cause to fire based off this season. Though the case could have been strongly made previously based off past seasons but that ship has sailed for now. Offensively, we need more offense (x’s and o’s) other than just throwing up 3’s. Not my sport, you guys and Gal know and follow much closer. Wish them the best.
Hurry football !!!

I can. Hunter Tyson and Brevin Galloway will be gone. I like some of the freshmen, but none of them are at the level those guys played this year.
