I do have a question about our defensive scheme

It seems to me through the first few games that we really have not blitzed much. Do you think we will bring the heat from that standpoint and get more creative on that side of the ball this week? Also, is the reason behind this because we really are trying to hide anything from film?

than what we've seen before. BV is going to make them throw it.

They may hit some big passes, but I think the thought will be "you can't hit enough to outscore us."

I really think we'll take the run away.

IMHO FSU will eat us up if we depend on our C/B`s to cover while we stop the run with 7 in the box!!NOW, if, BIG IF we can get some pass rush with our front 4 then all this improves...BUT, BUT, Ball State and FU ran all over us so???

if the Ref that played Auburn comes to play on Sat we just might win... IF our O/L blocks!!!

Furman didn't run on us.

Ball State was a passing team and Furman was a running team. We were geared to stop their strengths. Ball State passed 29 times for 129 yards and Furman ran 31 times for 110 yards.

for the 'vanilla' defense is that we have to be able to stop opponents with our base defense before we start adding in more dynamics to the defense. It's hard to tell if this is coach speak or if he's been holding back. I'd like to think he has been back, but something tells me that he hasn't. If they want film they can look at OK defense from last year.
