My cousin met her a couple weeks ago and said she's just as sweet in person as she is on video. I might add, Dabo should get props for marrying her, just as he does for his wins on the field. Call me a sucker for Southern accents or brunettes but I think she is by far the best looking wife in the ACC. Happy Bday, Dabo!

They are both genuinely sweet, honest down-to-earth people and are one of the best assets Clemson University can have.
I cannot imagine my son or any young man being recruited by Clemson, meeting them and their family, and then deciding to go somewhere else to school.
Truly a wonderful family.

Dabo tells the story, that a few years ago, going back to AL for a high school reunion, he ran into an old boyfriend of hers who was working in a convenience store. Dabo told her that she was lucky she married him instead of the other guy. To which she said, if I had married him, he'd be the coach at Clemson now.

That anecdote goes way back. It was supposedly said by Barbara Bush 10 years ago and Hillary Clinton back in the 90's telling Bill some other boyfriend would have been president had she not married him. The Snopes story also points out that the exact same story was in a book written in 1994.
It's a neat story but Dabo borrowed it from somebody else....just like lots of other speakers have done. No big deal.

I wish more women had her attidute and demeanor. She's Dabo's greatest asset.
