I can't think of another coach that we've ever hired away

from another school that's come in and had the immediate recruiting success that Nick Eason has had here at Clemson. The man is doing a phenomenal job and he's also a great DL teacher/coach for his players.

Last month, I got to attend a practice, and he was literally the only coach going through the practice drills, himself. He had his hat turned around backwards, and was blowing up our OL and yelling at the DL players "that's how ya do it!"

I wished we had most coaches like him. He loves Clemson, was a great player both here and the nfl, and is now back as a great coach doing what he loves where he loves in what he says is his ultimate dream job.

I think BV had a pretty big impact. Matter of fact, I think Ben Boulware made have been his first offer as he tried to fix the screw up that was Kevin Steele (who didn't offer Ben).

get the highly rated guys but he was great at coaching up what he had and the guys that he had always seemed to overachieve and he got the most out of them.

I don't know if you go back 6 or 8 years whether there is much difference before or after Coach E got here. We became a destination years ago for interior and edge linemen and hopefully that will continue.

I would agree Nick is doing a great job and I can't think of any that made the impact of recruiting he has. Someone said BV and I would add Chad Morris. Though thinking back on it, the timing was excellent for Chad as we had Tajh and Nuk and had Sammy already committed.
