So, how do Riley and Daye jump Dabo? Typically better recruiting classes, championships?
Dabo is the best for Clemson!
Go Tigers, Whoop Dook!

They will put Dabo down even with everything he has accomplished in college FB as a first time ever HC at any level, but then they will bring up his accomplished assistant coaches hoping that it put their name in light to be hired away from Dabo.
Brent Venables left Oaklahomo taking a not so good of an OC with him to Clemson. Clemson starts winning everything put in front of them and doing it with one of the top defenses in the country, and all of a sudden everything that is now come the talking heads mouths is what a defensive genius that BV is, and how he will be the most sought after Coordinator for a HC ing job in the country. Dabo will bring them and allow them to do the job that he knows they are capable of doing, and all of sudden they deserve better jobs somewhere else, and Dabo never gets any of the credit for just allowing his assistants to the job that he needed for them to do.
Anybody that don't believe the talking heads has an ax to grind where Dabo and his team is concerned, it's bc they have selective memory about all that was said about Dabo when he was given the head coaching at Clemson.
"All" not some of the talking heads declared that Dabo would without a doubt be a failure as the HC at Clemson when he was named Clemson's HC. Dabo has made fools out of every last one of them, and any others who said he would fail, and bc Dabo proved them all wrong about the negative crap they were saying about him, it has chapped their A$$ES that he has become one of the most successful first time HC's ever, and they absolutely hate it that he has made fools out them all bc he refused to allow what they were saying along with all their jokes and laughing at him, he refuse to let their jokes be the truth about him.
Now after he proved them all wrong by becoming one of the best HC's in the country, they don't like him bc he did proved them wrong, and Dabo will never be treated fairly by them bc he refused to let them have the last laugh... Go Dabo Go Tigers!!!!

Lincoln Riley? Do these people have working brains or are they just doing this to get a reaction?

He's no worse than 3rd, and should probably be #2 behind Saban.

It's a "what have you done for me lately poll" that penalizes for a couple of good but not great seasons. I think his best coaching is yet to come and the ship is definitely pointed back in the right direction.

12 straight 10-win seasons.
That alone puts him ahead of Ryan Day, Lincoln Riley, and Kirby Smart.
If you asked me between Kirby and Dabo, who would win their third title first, I am betting the farm on Dabo. This list only serves to rile us up and try to bring attention to Lemanski Hall for other teams to attempt to poach our position coaches.

The only one you can justify being ahead of Dabo is Saban...

Riley & Day have no championships and Smart has way too many off-field issues to be touched with a 10 foot pole!

The detail that was obviously ignored is how the university has performed under that coach versus its history. The five ahead of Swinney are at universities that were considered "blue blood elites," whereas Clemson was primarily known for inconsistency. That has completely changed under Dabo, so much so that he is a "victim" of his own success. And the part that makes me consider Dabo Swinney the greatest coach of all time is how his teams have performed academically and in overall character. Keep your other coaches; I'll stay with Dabo.
