If he’d quit recruiting the best QB in the country out of high school we wouldn’t keep having these debates.

Good point. But, most teams playing today would love to have our QBs. See APP State.

you mean the guy who completed one awesome pass but had to drop out of the P5 to have a season where he didn't throw 5 more INT than TDs

Uh, Brice had 9 TDs and only 4 INTs while at Clemson. He seemed to be pushing a bit on a bad Duke team in 2020, but has been very solid with App. State. Why the hate?

He has hate because App State kicked the Shamecocks A-S-S in the Roach the last time they played a couple of years ago!

I'm not hating. He just isn't that good. People hoist him on a some type of higher level because of one throw he made.

There is a reason he left Duke for a non-P5 team.

Great guy? definitely. Do I want to see him fail? no. But is he really that good? nah.

APP ST > than Duke by almost any recent measure

This is not to praise or criticize Brice.

It’s just to point out that he probably has a better supporting cast at APP ST than he had at Duke.

Just being called a P-5 team doesn’t make it true.

He is a quality college QB. Maybe tries to do a bit too much and put passes where he shouldn't on occasion, but there aren't many college QBs that don't do that on occasion. Probably not top round NFL material like we have recently come to expect at Clemson, but again there are only a few college QBs each year that are that.
