If Saban decides to come back and that is a BIG if, then he has plenty of schools to choose from come December and January.

Maybe one of the new GM-type organizations could draw him in. I could see him wanting to do the coaching but not wanting to manage the roster. All the interviews I heard from him after he left were around what they were trying to donfor the kids “going away”. But I could also see a school trying to bring him in just to get his “special recipe” for being so consistent. There’s a lot to be said for how he was able to evaluate players and coaches that just turned out to be darn good. I wish Dabo would call in that “island buddy pass” and let him take over hiring our staff.

The jury is still out on BV at Oklahoma too. A lot of those fans in Norman arent very happy. If they collapse late in the season I could see him on his way out.

Wow. Real possibility of them finishing 7-5. LSU is probably the only game they may be favored in the rest of the way.

Yeah it's unfortunate because he's finally given Oklahoma a really good defense and an offense that's starting to come along that can compliment each other. Something they haven't had in 15+ years.

But their last 5 games is a brutal row. If Oklahoma was patient, Venables will definitely get them to the top.
