CFP Predictor yada yada yada

Saw one of ESecPN's useless projections uning their playoff predictor this morning that gives Ohio State a 51% chance of making the CFP if the current top four teams win this weekend. The predictor actually says that if the top four all win UGA, Michigan and TCU all have > 99% of making the playoff, OSU has a 51% chance of making the playoff and USC has a 43% chance of making the playoff. In what universe does OSU that got blasted by more than three touchdowns last week make the playoff ahead of a one loss power 5 conference champion. We really need a replacement for ESecPN.

Go Tigers!!! Gut the goats.

.... every network has a slight-to-heavy bias. And what they say doesn't affect the Playoff Committee very much. As a member of the media, who runs several Sports and News/Talk radio stations, I can tell you we preach and teach our on-air talent to be non-biased, even if they have a favorite scenario (and everyone does.) But people are people and while they may say some things that lean one way..... I've never (never ever) seen a group of on-air talent collaborate to skew the audience opinion. But sometimes, they do all agree.... it does NOT mean there is a conspiracy. They simply agree. If I ever caught wind of an organized plan to conspire, they would all be fired. I assume the same is true at every network. Regardless of that network's conference affiliation.

I think that predictor has more to do with the USC-Utah game than OSU, meaning a close game is expected and pretty much a toss-up. With the odds of USC losing around 50-50 then the odds for OSU replacing them if USC loses would be about the same.

I believe if top four win, they are in. TCU and USC

are the only ones in danger of getting bumped by OSU if they lose. Still gripes me that OSU played half a season and got in.That was wrong.
