It said Deshaun Watson. Agree? I still say Trevor but it's close. CJ will always hold a special place to me as well.

1. The Bama team that Clemson beat in 2016 had a legit claim to best college Defense ever. Bama, especially 1st team all-american MLB Reuben Foster, physically abused DW4 most of the game. But he never quit. Bama was better than Tigers at 15+ starting positions in 2016.
2. Bama 1st team all-american Jonathan Allen was asked by ESPN after the 2016 season who the best player he ever played against was in college. Was it a practice at Bama? Reporter expected an SEC answer. Allen said he would get pushback, but absolutely it was Deshaun Watson. Allen said DW4 was the only QB that never quit vs. Bama Befense.
3. SCU won 4 in a row before DW4 shows up. Then they lost 5 in a row.
4. DW4 changed everything about Clemson recruiting. The even better 2018 Tigers do not win in 2018 without DW4 leading and changing the landscape and expectations. And props to Christian, Power Rangers, TL16 and the whole team in 2018 -- the best ever Tiger team!

Yes DW paved the way. He opened the door for other players to come to Clemson.
My 3 not in any order. Christian Wilkins, TL and DW.
If I had to pick one it would be DW.

I never felt defeated after a Deshaun game
LSU and Ohio State felt awful . and felt like we didn't grind it out
Deshaun was a competitor . i felt we would always win

In Tampa, after Bama scored with 2:08 remaining I told my son, all we wanted was a chance to win with 2:00 and Deshaun with the ball! They were legendary!

favorite tiger player for all the obvious reasons. I believe that Deshaun is probably the most important player we’ve ever had here. He just never quit.

I know no one will agree with me but 3rd and Renfrow was the best player for Clemson. Whenever you needed a big play it was almost always Renfrow13.
All of the drives he extended by making a catch on 3rd down and The Catch to win the National Championship against Alabama.
Clemson would not have the last 2 National Titles they won without Renfrow.

DW4 with CW42 a close second imo. Watson had IT. Trevor had more arm talent and was almost as good running, maybe even top end faster. But here is what I truly believe; with Watson we beat LSU. Trevor is great, don't get me wrong, but he dosnt have that Dog in him Watson had. We had a LOT of chances agaisnt LSU and could have put them down early in that game. We didn't and the rest is history. Still, all three are great players.

Trevor had more QB talent that translates to what the NFL wants/wanted, but I'll take Deshaun every time if building a Clemson "all time" team.
