but I was thoroughly entertained by our USMNT and appreciate their effort.I and fun following them this world cup! I am not sure how much soccer I will watch in the next four years....but will be behind this team in the next world cup! Imagine if some of our best athletes decide to start playing soccer, a 6'8 lebron taking set pieces?

Belgium was clearly the better team.
I found the gmae boring most of the way, and a bit pathetic for us Yanks. I did get a little nap in during the match, but apparently didn't miss much.

Kevin Durant, etc. grew up playing soccer like they would have in Europe, we'd have one of the best teams in the world.

we have plenty enough people to be great in tons of sports. Belgium has 11 million. They are like a state.

people always say this but those guys don't really have the ideal soccer player body type. Our USA team is already athletic. Ot's not about athleticism. What we dont have is players who are truly good on the ball and can create. We have no Neymar, Pirlo, messi, type of players that are technical.

I don't know...that lukaku guy looked a lot like a fullback to me haha....in all honesty I know athletic skills don't translate and I am happy that our athletes are playing the sports they are, but I think we have a talent pool to tap for soccer as well. Hopefully we can.

Of course they were the better team. They have a ton more talent. I am pretty sure they have the second most players in the EPL.
