I am asking those who are more involved day to day at CU

Dec 18, 2015, 8:24 PM

With Clemson recruiting against schools like Duke, NC , Kentucky , Fla, Tenn and others I would think that our facilities would have to be a big selling point to recruits. I know Brad B is in his 6th year but in those 6 years he has had to play home games in Greenville.

If I am a recruit to get me to even consider Clemson facilities are going to be very important. So beyond changing HC's what else can Clemson do to build a winning BB program. I know in football it took a lot of money plus good coaches.

So what are the answers to all of you who want a HCing change?? Who would you hire. ( I think the Winthrop coach would have been a great hire but he is st Wicita to stay ).

I am not involved enough on s day to day bases to offer more than in my post to give BB 1 more in a renovated facility and see what talent he has coming in with the 2017.

This is the first year Greenville has been our home court - what are you talking about?

To my best recollection we either had to use the area in Greenville to

Practice or play some or all home games around 2002 or 2003 or in 2006 during major renovations to LJ.

I thought it was closer to 2009 but I may be off a little but I remember the BB team having to travel to Greenville for practice. Either way LJ needs to be really updated inside and outside as well.

Just think what the wed end zone project and the Oculus had done to impress football recruits.

Are you retarded?

BB wasn't even close to being the head basketball coach back then.

LJ was last renovated under Larry Shyatt. Though I'm not gonna put my foot down and say a Brownell team has never stepped in the building before, it has not been the norm and would have in no way effected recruiting prior to this year.

There is no point in keeping Brownell, to win at Clemson you have to be able to scout and find diamonds in the rough as Purnell did with players like Rivers and Mays. Brownell has not been able to do this and brings no energy, he is not the answer and needs to go.

he can't keep players either***
