dealing with experienced veterans from the portal than these high school babes who may not work out anyway. These players and families are selling out for the money. They have no allegiance to any school just the money.

Meh, he’s got a point. They need help in the secondary and can’t seem to hit on one lately.
If you use the portal, they are more developed and you actually know what you’re buying.
Out of all those secondary guys, only Terrell and Barnes are P4 quality.

Listed at 185. Deion Sanders never was over 191. DB doesn’t have to be huge. Just fast and skilled.

This is just an opinion and based articles I have read about Portal players 🤔😵💫🤑😳
1. They are looking for more playing time.
2. They are in the portal because the first
time they did chase the💰💰💰💰💰
committing to the wrong program. 😡
3. They are chasing the 💰💰 looking for a
Bigger paycheck. 🤑🤑🤑🤑
4. Player is in the portal for all 3 above reasons.
Lane Kiffin did make an excellent comment when ask about the Florida or LSU jobs. “ he has learned that money cannot buy happiness “
Nick Saban said that you need to build your program from HS recruits.
Several internet articles have confirmed that negative comments and lack of fan support definitely has a negative impact on a programs recruiting.
It appears that most of the negative post on Tigernet are from newbie’s. Are they true Clemson fans?? Or are they purposely posting negative comments as trolls to negatively impact Clemson Football ???
If we sincerely love Clemson and Clemson Athletics, it’s important that the Fans come together, support and trust Dabo and Clemson Football. Especially if we want to bring in top recruits, get back to the CFP’s, and win another National Championship 🐅🐅🐅.

I respect this take and agree that fan unity matters, but I think it’s bigger than just money or loyalty. The transfer portal is part of modern CFB for better or worse. Not every kid in there is greedy; some just want a fair shot, better development, or stability after staff changes.
Dabo’s philosophy of building through high school recruiting works when you’re landing elite talent and developing it, but ignoring the portal entirely puts us at a disadvantage. Supporting Clemson doesn’t mean silencing criticism; it means wanting us to evolve and stay competitive.
Love the Tigers 🐅, but love them enough to adapt.
